DATA PRIVACY POLICY

  1. SCOPE, APPLICATIONS AND USES

Tempoel, Lda.'s Data Privacy Policy applies to all personal data provided by natural persons, which will be incorporated into our database for the purpose of carrying out commercial and legal activities arising from the purchase or sale of our services and products, and other activities inherent to or related to the company's economic object.

The data provided may also be used, among other things, for the development of satisfaction questionnaires and communication about offers or products that may be of interest. For these purposes, individuals may be contacted by e-mail, SMS or the most appropriate means of communication for obtaining data.

This policy is developed in accordance with the guidelines established in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, which is transposed to Portugal through the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as of May 25, 2018.

  1. OBTAINING DATA

The data of natural persons will be obtained by: registering on our website and using it, contracting services, purchasing or selling the products offered or filling in the forms required to register clients, suppliers, consignees who have a relationship with our company.

Data can also be obtained from open sources of information, such as public registers, public administration resolutions, telephone directories, official lists for the prevention of fraud and financial risks, social networks and the internet, and third-party companies to which prior consent has been given.

  1. TYPES OF DATA OBTAINED

The data we will be dealing with falls into the following categories:

  • Identifying data: names, contact telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, bank payment and collection details for billing processes, address and location details of personal residence and identification numbers.

For this type of natural person, data on social circumstances, academic and professional data of natural persons will not be stored or processed.

  1. CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING

Individuals must give us their express consent to process their data by accepting our Data Privacy Policy. This acceptance is necessary in order to provide the services requested and to process the purchase and sale of products. Failure to provide this information may prevent us from fully providing our services, thereby releasing us from all liability for the non-provision or incomplete provision of these services.

The acceptor of this document guarantees that the Personal Data provided is correct and accurate and undertakes to notify any alteration or modification thereof. In the event that you provide us with Personal Data of third parties, you will be responsible for informing them and obtaining their consent to be provided for the purposes indicated in the corresponding sections of this Privacy Policy.

  1. DATA TRANSFER

The data provided will not be transferred to third parties and is for the exclusive use of Tempoel, Lda. and its subsidiaries for the purposes described above.

The data provided may be transferred to third parties when required by law or to respond to a mandatory legal procedure (such as a registration order or other court order); always based on current legal legislation and to the bodies authorized to access this information.

  1. DATA RETENTION

Personal data will be kept until such time as they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were obtained, and will remain at the exclusive disposal of judges and courts, government bodies or competent Public Administrations, in particular data protection authorities, for the attention of possible responsibilities resulting from the processing, during the period of limitation of the same.

  1. RIGHT OF ACCESS, CONSULTATION, MODIFICATION AND DELETION

Complying with the provisions established in the data protection regulations. Individuals who provide their data to Tempoel, Lda. may exercise their rights to: opposition, access, rectification, suppression, limitation, portability and revocation of the consent given.

Any of these actions can be requested by e-mail: qualidade.pt@tempelgroup.com, specifying in the message the type of action required. Requests can also be made in writing by sending a communication to Tempoel, Lda., with VAT number: 504 646 656 and registered office at Estrada de Paço d'Arcos nº88/88A, Cacém Park Armazém 29, 2735-307 Cacém. Petitions must be accompanied by a copy of the citizen's card or identity card or other identifying document of the individual making the request. Information that we need to store due to a legal or contractual obligation may not be deleted, will be blocked and used only for the necessary purposes within the legally established time limits.

Requests will be dealt with within a prudent timeframe, notifying the requester when their request has been resolved.

  1. ENTRY INTO FORCE, APPLICATION AND VALIDITY OF THE DOCUMENT

This document will be in force from its date of publication and will remain valid until its version is changed. The sections of our Data Protection Policy may be modified at any time without prior notification, so we recommend that you consult it periodically. Only in cases where significant changes occur will we communicate them to the interested parties in question.
