About Atex and IECEX certificates:
The ATEX Directive, which came into being and is applicable in the European Union, describes what kind of equipment and environment is permitted for working in an explosive atmosphere. This regulation applies to all equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres, whether mechanical or electrical, including protective systems.
IECEx is a system that facilitates international trade in equipment and services for use in explosive atmospheres. It is a globally binding standard to ensure that explosion-proof equipment and systems are safe for use in IECEx countries. IECEx has numerous conformity assessment systems.
Built around a large 11.6-inch widescreen and powerful enough to run Windows 10, the ATEX and IECEx certified F110-Ex meets the needs of utilities and industrial manufacturing applications.
TOUCHSCREEN
The F110-Ex takes advantage of our revolutionary LumiBond 2.0 touchscreen technology, which bonds the screen glass with the touchpad and LCD, creating a single panel that is more durable and readable. It features four advanced touch modes (Touch / Rain, Glove or Pen mode, plus an optional digitizer mode), and the included hard-tipped pen allows you to capture signatures and take more precise notes on drawings, maps or shapes.
CERTIFICATIONS
The F110-Ex has been independently tested and certified to MIL-STD-810G.
We offer ATEX and IECEx Zone 2/22 certification for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Exceptional insulating mechanical materials and circuit designs are applied to ensure that the F110-Ex is ignition-proof and intrinsically safe under its intended use.
