About Atex and IECEX certificates:
The ATEX Directive, which came into being and is applicable in the European Union, describes what kind of equipment and environment is permitted for working in an explosive atmosphere. This regulation applies to all equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres, whether mechanical or electrical, including protective systems.
IECEx is a system that facilitates international trade in equipment and services for use in explosive atmospheres. It is a globally binding standard to ensure that explosion-proof equipment and systems are safe for use in IECEx countries. IECEx has numerous conformity assessment systems.
Designed to fit ergonomically in one hand, the T800-Ex tablet is just 24 mm thick and less than 23 cm x 16 cm in size, weighing just 910 g.

The T800-Ex tablet uses our revolutionary LumiBond® 2.0 technology to achieve a more readable display, offering better contrast and sharper colors than any other rugged tablet screen. By combining the screen glass with the touch panel and LCD panel, we have created a single panel that is more durable, minimizes glare and improves readability. Four advanced touch modes (Touch/Wet, Glove or Pen, plus an optional Digitizer mode) and the included hard-tipped pen allow you to capture signatures and take more precise notes on drawings, maps or forms.

Designed for use in the workplace, the T800-Ex tablet can be configured with 4G LTE mobile data with a self-adjusting antenna that can quickly switch between bands*. Each T800-Ex tablet includes the latest WiFi standard, 802.11ac, for faster data transfer speeds and optional dedicated GPS for faster location positioning.
CERTIFICATIONS
We offer ATEX Zone 2/22 and IECEx certifications for use of products in potentially explosive atmospheres. Exceptional mechanical insulating materials and circuit designs are applied to ensure that the T800-Ex tablet is flame retardant and intrinsically safe.
