About Atex and IECEX certificates:
The ATEX Directive, which came into being and is applicable in the European Union, describes the minimum safety requirements for the workplace and equipment used in explosive atmospheres. This regulation applies to all equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres, whether mechanical or electrical, including protective systems.
IECEx is a system that facilitates international trade in equipment and services intended for use in explosive atmospheres. It is a globally binding standard to ensure that explosion-proof equipment and systems are safe for use in IECEx countries. IECEx has numerous conformity assessment systems.
The UX10-Ex tablet is designed to deliver portable performance in a wide range of industries, including industrial manufacturing and utilities, even in the most demanding environments.
CONNECTIVITY
The UX10-Ex tablet supports the digital transformation seamlessly, offering digital connectivity via BT, WiFi and optional 4G LTE. An optional RS232 port can support legacy equipment. An optional RFID reader allows information to be fed back into the management system.

Aside from drop resistance and temperature tolerance, the LumiBond® screen guarantees usability in all conditions. 1000 nits of brightness make the screen readable even in bright sunlight, while touch capability in the rain and gloves ensure visibility and productivity even in the most extreme conditions.
